Street Tree Plan
Hello All,
I have attached the street tree plan. We spoke about this at our 9/25/2024 meeting.
Kruger development is going to fill in street trees according to this plan that have not been taken care of yet. The street tree is required by the city of Lincoln. The purchaser of the residential lot from Kruger (usually the builder) agreed to put in the street tree when they signed the purchase agreement for the lot. Since many builders have failed to fulfill this requirement, Kruger is going to take care of it for us, the residents.
Eagle Nursery will go around this fall and place door handle notices on all houses before they plant a tree. The homeowner can refuse. If you do, then Kruger will report that to the city and you will (most likely) be responsible for planting your own street tree and a cost to you.

There was a question about the trees along 98 and behind the Topher houses in the street tree plan. These will be planted by Kruger in the spring.
